Paul Weidner Memorial Fund

Paul’s family has asked that a memorial fund be created, to benefit autosports in a manner befitting Paul’s love for cars – and more importantly, the people driving them. While some details have yet to be finalized, we anticipate the following uses for this fund:

• Paul Weidner “Spirit of the Sport” Award. This will be an annual trophy, presented to the Minnesota Autosports Club (MAC) member who best embodies the helpful, caring spirit Paul regularly displayed to all the club members whose lives he touched.
   
• Paul Weidner Teen Driving School. Paul took a great interest in new drivers, and was often the first person to befriend someone at their first MAC event. We plan to use this memorial fund to offer annual driver training for teen drivers.  The inaugural school is tentatively scheduled for mid-October 2008.
