MAC MEMBERSHIP MEETING
September 25, 2008
13 Members attending with 12 being board members.
Meeting Called to Order 7:41
President Report(Lee F) Nothing to Report
Vice Pres. Report(Steve G) Nothing to report
Treasurer Report(Dave K) Club is in very good shape financially. Balance should finish year equal to or greater than last year even with the major truck repair work this year.
Paul W. Fund is at $2700
Current Members- 205 LY - 217
Secretary Report(Larry S) Request for approval of last months meeting minutes, Mark Y motion to approve, Jody B second, motion carried.
Tech Insp (Steve M) All set for Canterbury, have all necessary stickers and materials. Volunteers should make everything run smoothly.
Equipment(Josh K) Some cones are in pretty bad shape, will review at end of season and decide how many new to purchase. Josh will work with Mark Y to complete organizational construction work on truck after season. Truck is the most organized it has ever been thanks to great volunteer effort during clean up.
Safety(Mark Y) Everything has gone well and very smoothly.
Need to order more minor waivers.
Registration(Nikki D) Going well
Request to shorten registration by 15 minutes in length as it has been going very smoothly and can help speed up event start.
Canterbury will have different worker requirements.
Timing & Scoring(Josh B) Great working of equipment at T&T
MOWOG 6 Computer 2 screen bit the dust. Currently looking for compatible used unit to replace and just swap hard drives.
Will look to make purchase or there is option of donations.
CVSCC timing is set with volunteers from MAC.
Josh will be making a new how to guide for timing before MOWOG 7&8
Trophies(Matt D) Begin research on Paul W. Spirit of the Sport Award, discuss at October meeting.

Lee F T&T went extremely well probably the best one we have had yet.
Steve G Open paddocking seemed to work very well.
We will increase to entry limit to 70 next year to help with worker deployment.
Paul W. Driving School
(Steve B) School is set for October 12th at Midway Stadium, Entrants must be referred and entered by a MAC member, fee will be $20.00. Max number of entrants will be 24. School will combine classroom and driving instruction. It will encompass safety, car handling both regular and emergency.
Dave will check on all insurance requirements.
