hello all
i just got back from the st. cloud autox and was telling my dad how much fun it was. his reply is "well i will have to get my mgb running and try that out". he has been saying that since i can remeber, it is still on blocks in our yard rusting. the engin was rebiult befor it was parked (25 years ago) and was run 5 years ago.... i think. the body is beyond repair. anyone know where i can find a shell? it is a 68 mgb. i am not sure the years that are the same but something that dosn't have daylight shining through the fenders would be great.
thanks
noah

OK, what's an MGB?

OH yes, I have one of those too. A '77 rust-free. Not quite ready yet.
Next is to install the Pertonix ignitor and coil, then the 'bonnet'.
I suppose a license after 6 years in the shop might help as well.
The last time it was autox'ed, was '96 in DSP. Now it will have to go into EP, with the 'cam' and a ported-polished head. I'm thinking about removing the rubber bumpers as they weigh about 40 + lbs each.
Call or e-mail me.

Does he want to sell the cae?
Either my son or myself might be interested.
Other wise even better, have him 'bring it out' to an event.

Can you still buy those nifty MGTF kit cars that use MGB parts?
