SM rules question

I'm planning to sacrifice the 914 to the rest of the SM2 class this season... its hardly as optomised for that class as it was for SC1. Reading the rules for SM2, page 123, "J" allows tires legal in stock, street touring, and street prepared. What gives? ST is a 225 max size, 140 treadwear class, (page 96, sedtion 14.3) the other two, the wallet is the limit... Misprint, or just to many words to say any street "legal" (non slick) tire is O.K.?

Dave it basically means that any tire rim combo can be used including Dot R tires. It's just the SCCA's way of saying it.

Pretty much thougt that was the deal, but who knows, within their 8 billion rules if there was a typo that occured.
