You'll have to ask Paul. He usually prices things on a "per project" basis rather than a per hour basis. he'll need to have an idea of what your job is going to require from a materials and time standpoint.

Paul has done work for me and is very fair. I have had him sand blast parts for the powder coaters. But he charges me less then my time to drive home, go buy sand, drag out the blaster, get covered in grit and so on.

Last time I was in his shop there were a things going on, so he might be filled up schedule wise.

Would the JDM front end qualify as a "body kit"? I think they're legal in STS; Part of the SCCA going after the import tuner target market for which STS was originally created. I'm not sure about the welding though. Is there a performance advantage (read "weight reduction") in using the JDM parts?

i dunno...if i just used the USDM Bumper Support i may be able to stay in STS.. but then again i might get tossed into a group of sharks :barf:

HERE IS THE LINK.....http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=488266

so can i be back in STS again>?

I'm seeing more cars with JDM body parts on them these days. I can't help but think that SCCA has at least thought of this mod. I'm not sure how much of a performance boost it would give. Most cars these days use some sort of foam for their bumper systems instead of the old heavy springs/rams of the 70's and 80's. Something for our able and eager Rules Guru to check out.
