I got rear ended by an 87 year old woman today in the Miata on the way home from school WHILE STOPPED AT A F%$#ING STOP LIGHT!!!1

Not too much damage, but I have a few nice dents in the bumper, a couple paint chips and her license plate number embedded in my paint. The bumper looks like it was pushed up a little bit in the middle, too.

So, who does good work?

I was very satisfied with the work Abra in Maplewood did on my RX-7 last year. Other shops with good reputations are LaMettry's ($$$$); Schoonover, about average pricing.

I'm sure your insurance company has a list of recommended shops. Frequently the insurance company has an arrangement with the shop to guarantee any work done by the shop - usually for as long as you own the car.

If you want top-notch work, LaMettry's is tough to beat. They have a shop at 494 & Lyndale that shouldn't be too far from you.

I have heard good things about Raymond in Saint Paul. No direct experience.

Dave's did my Saturn, but I don't know if they are still around.
