Has anyone used this?

What did you use it for and how were the results?

Seafoam can be used in a couple of ways. I have used it as a fuel additive to clean carbon out of carb and intakes and engine. It can also be used to clean the sludge out of the crankcase. You just put it in like your oil run the engine for around 5 minutes then change the oil like regular. I have never used it to clean the oil but have used it alot for a fuel cleaner. works really well for vehicle that have not started for a year or two.

The guys on the MR2 board are acting like it is a magic fluid and just wanted
to see if anyone else has had the same results.

I remember in college a friend of mine dumped SEAFOAM in in auto tranny
and the thing worked for a tank of gas and then went back to its slipping
ways.

I used the Tranny stuff and have had great results. I bought an old camaro with the tranny going out of it add the seafoam once every 7-8 months and the tranny lasted another 2 yrs:dancin:

The other stuff works miracles for stuff that sits. I've poured it in 67 mustang carb that was stuck over night and in the morning it moved again. The car had sat for like 7 yrs.:)

I heard it is great for removing carbon build up. I will have to give it a shot.
I just changed my oil last night so I will have to wait on using it in my crank
case.

Seafoam is great for cleaning carbon out of the engine. It's a little harder to use now that most cars are fuel injected. Here's how, you figure the details.

Make sure the engine is warm. Using about 1/2 the can slowly pour it into the intake until the engine chokes and dies, then pour about another 1/4 cup in the intake.

Pour the other half can into the gas tank. Let the car sit ~20 minutes. Start the car. It will smoke something fierce. Drive it hard about 5-10 minutes. That should clear the carbon deposits out of the intake, the valves and the combustion chambers.

I use a can in the tank about every 6 months or so as a fuel additive. Works as well as Techron. Supposedly you can use it as an oil additive too, but I have never done that.

My car does'nt need wings! I have used seafoam for the Focus. It was sputtering and dying for no rerason what so ever. It stalled close to a checkers and a guy recommened putting it in the gas with some HEET and I have not had a problem since. My Father in Law races 7 sec drag cars and all the old timmers in drag racing swear by it. Sort of a magic elixer. Who knows, But if you have car issues whats a couple of bucks.

I tried SEAFOAM in my ginny pig vechile. (1998 Isuzu Rodeo)

Shortly after adding it I developed a nasty gas leak. Do you think this
SEAFOAM caused it or could it be a issue of bad timing?

Seafoam and Redbull sounds pretty good, cleans out your intake tract and exhaust port and gives you the energy to make it to the bathroom in time too.
