Help Wanted, Cute car Driver

Help Wanted:

Is there someone in the west metro area (I live in St Louis Park) that would be able to drive my MINI to & from the AX? That person of course could also run the MINI as well using # 701 --- this is a no strings attached drive as I would like to drive both the Marcos & the MINI. The only thing is, you'd have to be in my driveway by 7:00 to 7:15 because I need to be at Allright well before 8:00.

Hey HondaMan,

Good to hear from you, Sammy has first dibs, if he can't say "yes" by tomorrow as per his post then you've got it. If you could both shoot your emails to me weidnerpaul@netzero.com that would help. Remember tho you have to be at the house early...
Whoever does get the drive, plan on being at the house by 7:00, I'll leave at 7:15 with or without you (Marcos only then), use 701 and if you pre-register its in G Stock, STREET TYRE INDEX (both drivers of the car need to be in the same class).

As for the wheels --- is that the rims you said needed work? What was the bolt pattern anyway, 4X100? We can talk on Sat about it.

i have a friend that might be interested. let me call him and find out.
the mini, it's a stick, right? he's an autox rookie (this would be his first event), if thats a problem, no big deal.
he doesn't think his car is up to it, so if i could get him into a different car to start with, and show him that it is, i think he would be all over it. he's a good driver and REMARKABLY adaptable.

Under SCCA rules, the Marcos is an ASP car (although an overmatched one...:p ).
The car was classed in B-Stock by a previous Met Council Rules Chair.
I told Paul I'd let him slide by in B-Stock for this year.
