Do you have a room? Need one? Want to split? Lemme know...if you don;t have a reservation I can make one. The Motel 6 on 18/Bluemound is good.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend this one. I'll be up North with the family. I will be in Milwaukee for the July 4th WAI event.

I may go to that one too. (Can be home in time for fireworks!) Lemme know for sure and we can hook up.
Alex, I'll make reservation tomorrow and will reply with the information. Thanks!

Pat,
I'll be there for sure on the 4th. The whole family's coming over for the weekend - a stop at the Dells, the Milwaukee Zoo, etc.
Darryl & I will also be over for the two-day Milwaukee Region event July 17-18. I expect a few others will make it to that one as well.

I wanna do something this weekend, but with two autocrosses last weekend and the track day last night, I might be out of "points" with my wife :( I didn't know there was a July 4th event over there, though ...

Is anyone else thinking about doing the back-to-back double weekends over there in july? (17-18 & 24-25) I know a bunch are doing the first weekend, but what about the second?
Does anyone know if they're running those like a Tour event with both days scored or as individual autox's each day?
Is the FWD indexed street tire class still used out there?
I'm taking this weekend off.

I'll probably be at both double weekends. I believe both Milwaukee Region and WAI are running their two-day events this year as multiple one-day events. You can count on 5-6 runs on a Nationals-level course each day.
They still have FWD and RWD street tire classes.

Hey Alex....Summerfest is in Milwaukee this weekend! Rooms are hard to come by. I may just drive down on Sunday morning. (4:00 am roll call for me.) What about you? You still going the night before? If I don;t hear back from you, I will plan on driving down Sunday morning...you will on your own for a room.
I won't have my mobile phone with me this weekend. You can call if you like at home at 715-675-9931 if you have any questions. Thanks!!

I'd like to go, but... my windshield just cracked from an impact with a rock. Anyone know if I would still pass tech? The crack is about 12 inches long in the lower right corner going to the edge of the windshield.
Thanks,
Dan

CRAP! I knew I should have planned ahead. I might be able to stay with a friend down there, but if not I'll probably have to skip this one. If I drive down Sunday, I'll have to get up around 2 AM, which doesn't sound like much fun.
Maybe I'll be able to get my new (used) Konis installed tomorrow instead, and maybe even play with the corvettes in St. Cloud on Sunday. :D

Alex,
Don't forget you could also go to Eau Claire --- and if the Miata isn't done you could bring/drive the MINI & I can run two cars...
email me if interested weidnerpaul@netzero.com

I'll be at one of those, but I don't know which one. The first one is looking a little better than the 24th & 25th
