I'm looking at upgrading brakes on the CRX and curious if anyone has used EBC Greenstuff, Hawk HPS or Hawk HP Plus pads and how they like them.

I think Nikki decided to stick the Hawk HP Plus pads on the Civic last spring.
They are nice. They don't seem to get too hot or anything.
They do create a lot of dust though, compared to OEM. My black rims tend to appear maroon most of the time due to the dust.

Historically the EBC pads were frowned upon, pretty much across the board. More recently (this year), they have taken a new approach with new management and have re-released all of their pads with a new compound. I have heard good things on the reds, but not heard much on the greens. Moving on... I swear by Porterfield pads, R4S for AutoX and street, and the R4 for the track. I am very impressed with both of them (especially the R4). However, they do dust quite a bit, the R4 actually changed my wheel color in 2 10min sessions at DCTC last week! Anyway, I have also heard good things about the Bobcats and the Axxis Ultimates. I guess it comes down to $$ and preference (the Porterfields aren't the cheapest). Also, my results are on a ~2850lb Subaru so your mileage may vary...
