Alright all you know it alls, I've been looking to buy a Neon R/T for awile now. A few people have told me to get an ACR instead witch I can find all over the web for really cheap. To bad the closest one is about 800 miles away.
Any way this is my qestion what is the differance between these two cars? I have heard a lot of different things from different people. I know there is some Neon buffs out there. So whats up?

I think they are the same expect the R/T is heavier. Kind of like an Integra GSR vs Type-R, but not as drastic of a difference. Washburn and Lee know ACR's. I think the R/T has all of the performance options plus the comfort items. I think the ACR would a great car and then in a few years when you have a different everyday car gut it and put a cage in it and w2w it.

www.neons.org

Adam - I think the only problem with you and an ACR is that ACR's are strippers. No nothing in them. I think even a radio was an option. Not exactly a great family car, but oh well. They sure are fast autocrossers ;)

Got all the info I was looking for off neons.org. thanks miata#37
The options you can get on the cars is a little differant. The only real differance that matters is the R/T is a little more heavy. The suspention is basicly the same. besides having different ways to adjust camber, and the ACR comes stock with Konis. Thanks again:D

Adam,
If you are really looking mid 90's 4 doors. Add the Integra GSR sedan
and Sentra SE to your list. The GSR sedan has one of the best motor
and tranny combo's I have every driven and the Sentra SE has LSD
up front with a motor that can't be killed.
Happy hunting
