Who Roger have competition in HS? He took first again last weekend at La Crosse! I'll be at Waterloo the next two weekends. Roger and I met at the Fleet Farm in Rochester 2 weekends agoat 7:30 and it seemed plenty time to get to the event. Let us know Steve (or anyone else) if you want to caravan down from Rochester?

7:30 AM at Fleet Farm. I'll be there!

Seems my Nationals co-driver just picked up a Mini. It's only shod with Azenis, so Roger will have a tire advantage. It should be interesting... ;)

Azenis vs. victoracers at waterloo? Roger will will have a huge grip advantage. Of course, I know who Steve's co-driver is. It will be a "non-speed driver education event" worth watching!

Oh, yea. I'm going down too.

Randy? Is that right? He got a Mini? Oh Poooop, there goes my chances of ever winning HS again ;) Argh, I might be in 3rd if Steve is driving the Mini, too . . . And maybe someone else will show up to give me a beatdown, too. DFL for the Rog :(

Anyhow, I'm totally planning to be there! I love Waterloo events, whether I get my butt handed to me or not :dancin:

Yes I did get a used Mini,15 inch wheels and just the STD sport SUSpension
putting Azenis on it Friday,so that should help it alittle.Seems like a fun little stiffy car.
looking forward to driving that crazy WRX of Steves, need seat time before NATs.
See ya all at Waterloo (the battle of Waterloo?)OH yeh,I'll be running in HST at the MAC events, for awhile?

Hey Randy,

I think you'll like the Mini a lot, I really like mine. It is a blast to autocross, especially at waterloo. It'll be good to have some stiff competition, even if I'll have to eat some humble pie :D Set that thing up for HS!

I do have a set of oem-sized 15" X 5.5" wheels that I'd let go majorly cheap (like $65 for the set), however, they don't quite fit the mini. The center bore is too small, so they'd need to be modified.

I bought some OEM 15" wheels for it from Classic BMW in ohio to put my v700's on. I think they were like $115/each, which isn't too bad for a relatively light wheel.

Maybe someday we can codrive each others cars. Mine has the "sport suspension plus", it might be an interesting comparison. You can put that suspension on your car if you choose, it was (and still is) a stand alone factory option.

According to Mapquest, 3 hours 39 minutes.

It took me exactly four hours a few weeks ago, from downtown all the way to the race.

The drive home seemed shorter for some reason. And I know we were driving slower as well, must have been the satisfaction factor or something....

Hey, do the people meeting in Rochester want to meet a little earlier? Or is 7:30 fine? I think Jim might be changing wheels in the parking lot, so a little extra time may be useful.

But I don't care. I'm down for whatever.

We're meeting at fleet farm this time, right? And not the gas station?

Dam I wish I was Going now it sounds like it is going to be an interesting day for HS.
I am trying to build up some funds for a different car mine is getting very boring to drive. :zzz So its a lot less spend and alot more save. I've also lowerd the price on my car just to get it to sell. I have had very little people interested(imagine that). One guy tryed to scam me into sending him $7200 western union (long story lots of odd details).
Hopefully next time you all see me I will be sportin a new ride.:dancin:

Paul,

It should take you about 90 minutes to get to the Fleet Farm, which is at the intersection of Hwy 52 & Hwy 163 on the South edge of Rochester.

I'll be taking 35E to downtown St. Paul, then Hwy 52 all the way to Rochester. If you want to meet up before Rochester, just pick a spot along 52.

Thx!

Steve,
How about Little Oscars in Hampton --- would meeting there @ 6:30 work & get us to Fleet Farm on time?

I am also looking to trade drives as well, I know you already are co-driving, but is someone else interested?

Hey car #37, are you interested? Anyone else?

I wish I was going, but I gotta work saturday and sunday just like the saturday and sunday before. And yeah, I work monday through friday too.

I have a fresh set of Hoosier Aso4's 225/45-15 that are ready to be scrubbed in before Divisionals. With these tires, bring on Braun, Telehowski, Daddio, Ames, anybody I WILL DESTROY THEM!! Uh.... yeah. But they should help me get closer.
