I think the Rochester Crew (aka Jim and I) will be there :dancin:

Having Chris and Adam A be the EM's kinda sweetens the pot :D I'll expect a flyin' course :D

I think Adam A and Chris B are heading to mid. divs. so I'm not sure if the are still Doing this event.. You would have to ask them to be sure.
Anyway I am undecided if I'm going or not. I wanted to wait till I get a differant car but its getting hard to stay away.

Adam and I were originally going to EM the event, but then Mid Div's came along. We'll be in Topeka this weekend.

However! We are EMing a later season DMVR event at Sandpiper. I think I can speak for Adam in saying that we'll do our best to design a course that flows and challenges everyones skills.

HAHAHA! This makes me laugh for some reason.

Why would someone setup an AUTOX COURSE as a figure 8??? ...a course like that should only be used for a destruction derby.

Roger is right, I'll be headed south Sunday as well. Roger, should we shoot for 7 at the conoco across from Fleet Farm?

The course last Sunday was a modified figure 8, and it was pretty fun. You probably didn't realize this, as you were going sideways most of the time :D

You're right!

I was visualizing a dirt-track figure '8'....hmmm... I swear that the early-season Iowa event (DMVR?) was literally just a circle that you lapped a few times.

What time does the event start? I forgot to check. 7am is fine, or 7:15 if we have enough time, whatever. I just don't wanna be late to waterloo ;)

Well, anyone who didn't go to MidIDiv's really missed out. This was a flying course.

It started with this half-chicago box, into an offset into a sweeper, into an increasing slalom, two sweepers, and then this wild, hairy super-cool offset back into that half-chicago box at FULL speed. It was so fun flying into that box on the start of the 2nd lap.

Jim is starting to get some competition in AS, those guys in the gold vette keep improving. But Jim still won, I think he probably had the fastest time for any stock car.

I did alright, but I think my 2nd run was my fastest, that was frustrating.

Only bad part was paddocking in the gravel. I think that ended up getting lots of dirt/rocks on the course, because there wasn't as much traction as usual, and Jim and I both had wild 1st runs which were probably due to our tires being filled with rocks at the starting line :sarc

But all in all, it was a great course, we got 4 runs, and only had to work 1 heat. :dancin:
