Anyone going to the LaCrosee autocross this weekend? I'm about 98% sure that I will be there.

I think Jim and I will be there. Come on Steven, tell your wife that you won't be cool anymore or something if she doesn't let you go :flame:

Chris, the event flyer is here (http://www.scclac.org/SCCLac_Downloads/Autocross/2004/2004_SCCLac_August_SoloII.pdf). And some more info is here (http://www.scclac.org/modules.php?name=Calendar&file=index&type= view&eid=27) (with a link to driving directions).

The site is an oval track, it's different, but when I went there last time, the course was pretty fun. There are walls, but I didn't freak out too much, and I'm not one who likes dangerous autocrosses. I mean, heck, Alright Parking has some pretty large slabs of cement under that bridge, too, right?

Well, if you want to go, and you're coming across on I90, you might be able to meet up with me and jim.

Ah, yes. The circle track. I think it was two ovals, one small, one large...

I didn't drive in this event last year, but it seemed to have a really large (and diverse) turnout.

Seemed a lot of people were frightened down to 7/10s because of the proximity to the walls. :oneeye:

EDIT: maybe it was more like 8/10s.

I drive 3/10s so people have a better chance to watch me drive. Plus my car is a all show no go auto thank to the crap MX's. Damn that ******* that out bid me on ebay for Kosei race rims.

Roger was right...I'll be there. So Roger we could easily meet at the Kwik Trip by our house? Does 8:00 sound good? We would still get there around 9:00, I think?

I will be at the Austin Healey gymkhana on Saturday. Brown & Bigelow's parking lot just off Hwy 52/ Layfayette bridge.
OK, so no real timing, just stop watch. But then for me cheap seat time, with other LBC"s.
By the way, Steven, what are the MX's?
Tires or wheels?

Yep tires and they suck compared to Falken Azenis's.

I got clearance from the little lady it looks like I will be down on
Sunday with crappy tires and all.
