MOWOG 8 - Valleyfair Here We Come!

Great News! The feedback was so positive for the first Valleyfair event, that we've added a second one! Come drive a challenging Nationals-style course, designed by Pat Washburn.

MOWOG 8, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 9th at Midway Stadium has been changed to Sunday, October 3rd at Valleyfair Amusement Park. Please note the following changes, necessitated by the high cost and attractiveness of this venue:

1. Registration will be $30 in advance or $35 day-of-event for ALL drivers. No member discounts or free entries for Board members.

2. The Event Master (me) has waived the one car per driver rule, to ensure we get enough entries to break even. If you want to run two cars, make sure to sign up early. Once the event's full, you're out of luck!

3. 150 driver limit. Additional entries MAY be allowed day of event, at the discretion of the Event Master.

4. Registration and start times are earlier than usual, to allow more time for driving. Our goal will be to provide 6 runs on a 60 second course.

Note: the change to Sunday was made to allow more time for course setup.

If this is on the 3rd, I can't make it and I've already signed up and paid. Wasn't this on the 10th? I can make that date, hint hint, mowog 9! Thanks,

You are correct, this event was originally re-scheduled for the 10th. However, in the interest of ongoing relations with Valleyfair, we agreed to move the event to 10/03. This will permit Valleyfair to host a 3 day event for a large corporate client, and also resulted in somewhat of a cost reduction for MAC.

We apologize for any inconvenience the date change may cause, and will gladly refund any pre-paid registrations for drivers who are now unable to attend.
