The AARRF event was a great event! A day with a lot of driving and timed laps! This is new and it went just great. Good job AARRF people! To bad there where a few people that went off the track, fortunately no major damage (as far as I know). Try keep it on the track next time.... ;)
Just wanna thank the AARRF organization again for the good work!!
Thanks!
Harry

i have to agree even though my left side tires are now half way down to the skin...but you have to pay to play and thats why sponsors kick a** i would like to see some more days like that day wiht my 30 laps and good times. well worth the money. even though i had to pay a fine for my two rear tires in between turn 6&7:D :D :D :D but you are not driving hard enough till you slip up in a turn i am told so i did it and was darn proud to pay the 5 dollars. look for the blackmercedes at mowog 3 with a few buddies

later all

I had a blast as well. Lots of track time with a significant lap time improvement over the course of the day.

Track time at Brainerd was mentioned at the driver's meeting - Llew, could you repost the information on this new message board? I have more interest now that I have been to a few high-speed events in my car...

:D What an awesome surprise! Thanks for the compliments. I'm super glad everyone had a good time.

As far as tire wear. I recommend a road racing medium compound tire. Falken Azenis, Yokohama A032R, Toyo RA1. These can hold thier own at an Autocross and shrug off AARRF events. I'm on my second season with A032Rs and they stick great.

Plus, if you want to see lap time drop you will be absolutely shoked by R compound rubber.

Stay away from Unshaved Kumhos. They melt at full tread depth.

The new timing system worked flawlessly. Plug and play. Man I am so stoked to hear about your lap improvements. I can't wait to try it myself. I was kind of busy due to some things beyond my control that morning so no laps for me.

Next time. Lookout. :)

Oh yea Brainerd. Check out this post. We can do it. We just need 55 cars. If we don't get 55 we can't go but everyone will get a full refund.

Hey Post your before and after lap times so we can see your improvement! :D

Thanks
