The Evolution Phase 1 class on Sept. 24th is full. However, we still have a number of openings for the Phase 2 class on Sept. 25th. Phase 1 is a pre-requisite for Phase 2, so only sign up if you've attended Phase 1 in the past or are enrolled on the 24th.

These classes are a break-even proposition for MAC, so we need to have all 12 slots filled. I realize many of you didn't want to pre-pay early, but now is the time to commit. This is excellent autocross instruction, and we should have good weather in late September. The cost is $225, which must be paid in advance.
Thanks!

There will be two instructors, and we don't know their names yet.

I just talked to Jean Kinser, and the tentative instructors for EVO 1 & EVO 2 are Tim Aro and Dean Sapp. These two should complement each other well, as Tim has extensive experience in lightweight sports cars (Miata & MR2), and Dean has won championships in Camaro, Firebird & Chrysler Conquest.
We still have PLENTY of space for EVO 2 . Come one, Miata drivers - it sounds like we have the perfect instructor for you.

I'm confident Tim & Dean will be able to help out the AWD drivers just fine. These guys have both driven a lot of different cars, and have some mad driving skillz. 8)

These instructors are the best of the best, it doesn’t matter what they drive, FWD, RWD or AWD.

They just have to imagine what it is like racing a FWD car
I would sign up, but I'm in the middle of a change over, and these next few months are't the months I will have much to spend in terms of fun money. All my money is sunk into traveling to events.

I just registered, but what happens if we don't fill the 12 spots by the September 1st online registration deadline?

You get more seat time. ;)
Seriously, we're already paying for the instructors to come out for Phase 1, so it's just as cheap for us to have the Phase 2 class than send them home.
However, the club will lose money on the classes if we don't get a few more drivers registered for Phase 2. :(

There are still 5 openings for Phase 2 on Sunday, September 25th. This should be a great session for anyone who has completed Phase 1 in the past, or is signed up for Phase 1 on Saturday.
These classes are run on a break-even basis, so don't wait until the last second - sign up now!

I'm in (time for a refresher of everything I learned the last time in Evo 2), so with the new entry limit of 18 there are 9 spots left.
Folks, if you've done an Evo 1 before, Evo 2 is a great way to keep learning about how to autocross well - so sign up! Oh, wait a minute. If you don't sign up, then I get more seat time...
...so, people, please DON'T anyone else sign up for Evo 2... :conecar:
By the way, if you haven't done Evo 1, well, hey there are spots open there, too, and it is WAY worth-it!!

You will get more bang for your buck at a weekend of EVO than you would get traveling to several events.
I have shot my budget on traveling this summer and acquring a new autocross car, or I'd be there for both days.
