No SM results posted yet, but Katie Lacey is leading SML at Nationals, after Day 1....by a BUNCH. Looks like the Sias-mobile didn't like the rain much and Katie did! 8)

Woo HOO! Go Katie!
That day in Waterloo really paid off. Perfect last tuning of your driving technique.
Does anyone down there have a camera with that they can upload some pics or video?

I have video of 6 warmup event runs & 5 of 6 Nationals runs. I'll upload a couple when I get the chance.

I just talked to them...fantastic!! She worked hard on that last run to seal the deal. We're all proud of you Katie!!
Neal had a *very* impressive scratch time today too...nice driving Neal. It'll come together for you on both days next year.

Way to go Katie you better be out modeling that jacket come VF weekend. We'll all be lusting and wanting our own I'm sure.
MAC has a national champ yee haw. Now we just need to add a few more next year.
We got a special place for her in MAC history.

Thanks Everyone! I still can't believe I won. The Scirocco handled beautifully on Thursday in the rain. Now the goal is to drive as good in the dry. The Sias car is incredible and Elise is an amazing driver. Next year will not be easy to win even if it rains.

Great job Katie (better late than never)
It sounds like you know your competition well and you'll have a whole year to get ready --- remember now that you have the jacket you have to defend it :D

Just don't try to leave the house wearing her jacket. They tell me those frying-pan injuries can be very serious.
WOW! Congratulations on a job very well done. It must have been tough competing against the best autoxr's in america. Awesome job, keep those front tires stickin' and g's pullin!
