I am going to this both days (staying over) and recommend this:

Winona this upcoming Sat/Sun is a test/Tune (Sat) and AX (Sun) at the local Tech Institute where they teach OTR driving, the course is similar to DCTC or St Cloud (skidpad/roads) with wider roads than St Cloud but a but smaller layout than DCTC. It's a good site with a well run event, usually 40-50 entrants per day.

Go down & stetch your season. It's probably too late to get a room as w/e fill fast but you can still make a day trip of it --- get there by 9:00 or so for registration

School located at:

1250 Homer Road
Winona, MN 55987

Paul

PS. It's MOWOG, not MOWAG (Do a search on the message board for MOWAG for an explanation...)

There is one on the calander this weekend at Shawano, I'm not sure if registration is closed or not, but you can get up to 2 hours of track time for $120

Mowog is spelled with 'o's!
Not MOWAG!
Sheesh!

Goes back to the days when this club merged with the Upper Midwest BMC club.

Explanation; BMC stands for the now disfunct British Motor Corporation.
Which had adopted MG, [a sports car from the 20's until 1980]
Which merged with BMC, and later became British-Leyland, which later was BL, and much later MG-Rover.
which has now been sold to Chinese interssts.
Will the MG Rover name ever be sold again?
We can only hope.
Small, spartan, simple, light, good handling sports cars.
Ahhhhhhh..............
