The January membership meeting is this Wedneday!
So what's so important about that?
Well, rules for one thing, ya' know we can go up or down on them. Then there's always what we are going to do with the new trailer. And then just getting together to keep up interset, renew friendship's.
And it's not a board meeting, but a membership meeting.

Oh, PS, better bring your $20 dues and re-up

"Bring your $20 and Re-up"
I will be at the meeting and will be taking membership reg forms/$$$.
Please download a registration form and fill it out B4 the meeting, or fill one out there (I will have copies). No $20 accepted w/o a completed form, I want to be sure we have all up to date info...
Thanks,
Paul

For those needing the membership form and not familiar with this wonderful website design, from the home page, click on "EVENTS", go to MAC Registration Prosess step 3 and click on "(click here to become a member)". As many have said before, it would be so much easier if we just had a link from the home page...

Where does this meeting take place, what time, and how to get there?
Is there something I missed on the web page like this, or is this another "fix" like finding the membership forms?

Membership meeting location...
This is copied from the contacts area of the MAC website:
MAC General Membership meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the last Wednesday of every month (except December) at Parrish's Supper Club, 2176 West 7th St., St. Paul, MN.
Since you have the address now, i suggest mapquest for directions.

This is on the southwest corner of 7th and Rankin, on the same block as the Pearson Candy factory. Park in back of Parrish's, and go in the basement door. You can order food and drink to be consumed there. Don't bring any food with you: That's how one car club got kicked out of the place. :-(

Thanks to everyone who attended last night.
We sure had a good time, and I only had to pound the gavel a couple of times.
[no fist fight's, bloody noses or anything]
It sure is good in the middle of the winter to get together with people of the same interest's. This makes me want to have more social events where we can bench race, and jsut have time to talk, plan and brag.

It sucks that I missed the meeting, but the weather out west is pretty nice
this time of year.
So how did the voting on the rule changes turn out?
There is an open board position that needs to be filled. Tthis is the responsibility of the current board, constitutionally. The board can interview and appoint between elections.
Taker's?
What is needed is a person who is willing to attend as many membership and necessary board meetings as possible. Has e-mail and uses the message board. And is willing to also accept additional responsibilities. The open 'job' is what we previously called 'social'. Now we call it 'promotions' The perks of being on the board are, free event fee's. WE do need to have additional events besides autocrosses.
Please respond if this is of interst to you.

On another note, there is coming up February 7,8,9. Days of Thunder at Thunder Alley in Blaine. Sounds like something we should do as a club.
