Just a friendly reminder about this week's Membership Meeting:

So whos coming?
I'll be there.

You beat me to it.
Oct meeting is always nomination time, so if you want to run for a Board post show up or if you want to nominate someone.
Plus we will be discussing many other things current and for next year.
We as a club can always use more input.

Yes. Last Wednesday of the month. Including November this year as it does not conflict with (USA) Thanksgiving.
There is no meeting in December. Go to the rules meeting and the early-Jan autocross party instead. We will see you back for the MAC meeting last Wednesday of January.

Actually, membership runs for the calendar year. So, if you join now, you'll only be a member until December 31.
EW - you're very welcome to come and voice your opinion on any of the topics being discussed. The only limitation is that you can't actually vote on any of the motions that are made if you're not a member.
One of the items that will be on the agenda is the membership fee for next year. :o

I'll not be able to make the meeting, still catching up on storm claims in MN and WI, and now mother in law in town for wed-monday. Can't ditch her wed night when she comes in just to make the meeting. bummer.
Anyway, here's my story and I'm sticking to it.
"I had a great season heading up out first year of season long driver ed. It was great fun to help others with their drives, if they were newbies or regulars looking for another perspective on their drive. Made alot of new friends, and would love the opportunity to expand and improve the program for next year. I'd like to be nominated for another term as a board member-at-large, with the responsibility of driver ed."
I'd like to be nominated again to continue to fine tune our season long instruction. I think it was a good first year effort, but would like to see if we can do better, and would like to lead the charge toward better.
thanks-
David

MY mother-in-law wouldn't stand between me and a MAC meeting. :P

I will nominate Dave. If I zone out and forget, somebody kick my chair. ;)

Alas, after all this talk about coming I'm not going to be able to make it. I have been tasked with driving my 80 year old Grandmother to Rochester in ( :o ) my Dad's Aurora...
The trip would be so much more interesting if I could take my new MR2 8) , but that's waiting on an engine swap. Which will hopefully be done by Monday (yeah right  ). Not to mention the fact that Grandma wouldn't be able to get in or out of it... :(

Phil: thanks for your support. My M-I-L would probably suggest I go to the meeting, she'll be around for a week, but her daughter, (my wife...) seems to think dinner with her mom is more important than dinner with the guys... imagine that.
Paul: thanks for your trying to keep Phil in line at the meeting, or at least awake. To bad you can't be there to kick the chair. (if needed)
