Annual MCSCC/MAC awards party!
The annual awards party for the Metropolitan Council of Sports Car Clubs (MCSCC) and Minnesota Autosports Club (MAC) is scheduled for Saturday, January 14, 2006. We will once again meet at “The Barn” in Eden Prairie (address and map link below).
6:00 PM is when we'll get there and start to do set-up. Tables, coolers with soda pop etc. By around 7:00 PM we’ll order pizza (and be looking for volunteers willing to go pick it up).
Awards/trophies for both the MAC MOWOG Autocross Series and MCSCC Autocross Series will be presented, starting at approximately 8:00 PM.
The Met Council is paying for party room rental, soda pop, and snacks. MAC is providing pizza. (However, all potluck dishes, chips, cookies, desserts, etc will be most appreciated.)
Here’s a link to Mapquest showing the location:

The address is 11221 Anderson Lakes Parkway, Eden Prairie, 55344-4086.
ALL are welcome!

While you are there, sign up for some permanent numbers. You don't have any. Randall has two.
Permanant numbers are like teeth. Ignore them and they will go away.
Check the Permanent Number Update in the General Discussion section.

Thanks to you Phil, I'm not even worried about my tires. As long as my numbers look good, I'm set. </end plug for Phil>

I'm planning to show up, probably with a buddy in tow. We want to see who the movers and shakers are before we take you all on this year.
I wonder how many times that little declaration will come back to bite me.
I see Phil will be selling numbers there, but will we be able to sign up for memberships, too ? We will probably want to sign up, assuming you lot aren't all big and scary.
Stuart.

We're big and scary, but in a good way.
Just remember that we've been suffering AX withdrawal for several months with several more to go --- and how we act now may not be indicative
of our "normal" behavior. As for the "we take you all on this year."
Bring it on!

Funny, because one rev is about the same amount of time your MR2 would be in front of my WRX. :p
As for biting off more than you can chew.... Yeah.
i'll let next season do the talking. :D

But can i ask you one thing? How do you like your foot prepared?

Whoops! :o Thanks for the reminder, Phil. I guess when I took care of my son's numbers through 2006, I was somehow thinking my own were good through then also, and didn't pay attention to the list. I'll renew 23 and 27 at the party. I'd be pretty dumb to let them go, considering you just made new magnetic numbers for me. :D
See you there.

So Mike, I looked at that video of the Sprite from Winona --- didn't see any crumpets, were you feeding the Sprite crumpets after your runs to slow me down? Didn't work...

It seemed to work in Iowa when I beat you with your own car and funky oversteer settings :D
We'll have to have a Sprite Vs. MR2 face off. Share drive eachothers cars, then compare times, and add them together. Two very different cars will make it interesting.
But Shanes not invited, because he'll be too far behind :flame:
