Leading up to the VS autocross, I was asked if there was a minor waiver on file for me with MAC for this year...there wasn't, so my dad had to come along. He's in Kentucky right now, and my mom isn't too fancy on coming along for the day  . Anywho, are minor waivers kept on file, and if one was signed at the VS autocross, is it on file for me now (IE, if I register/come day of event, I should be good to go?).

I would *THINK* that being you just had one signed that you would be golden, but I can't say for sure...I know your signed form is floating around in the trailer somewheres.

Minor wavers are not kept on file.
one must be filled out per event.

Odds are that we can send one to you, and you can have it signed with a notary as a witness and you can still come, but without a minor wavier for this event you will not be able run.

Sam,
No such thing as a yearly minor waiver, you need to have one for each event youu attend signed by a parent in front of a MAC officer OR have it notarized with your parents signature in advance (assuming you can get the minor waiver in advance). I believe Dave Kral (lives in New Hope) has Minor Waivers if you wish to go the notary route, if you can get Mom stop by in the AM she can sign it day of event, she does not have to stay all day, just sign the waiver.

Shane was faster than me again...

Guess that proves you wrong then :p .

I'll see what I can come up with. I have class right now, but if any MAC people have them and can mail me one tomorrow (should get here one-day?), please PM me this evening and I'll get an address. I'd be greatful for those who can help. Oh, I'm also in the cities tomorrow if anyone is available from whom I could pick one up from.

Sam, I put a form in the mail to you this morning. Shane also has one in case he can hook up with you sometime before Sunday.

Note: These forms do NOT have to be notarized. However, there does have to be an independent witness who signs the form in addition to the minor and the parent/guardian. Also don't forget to fill out both sides. If you plan to attend the event in Eau Claire on 10/8 or at Midway on 10/15 pick up more waivers at DCTC on Sunday
