This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday you can run with the Corvettes at BIR.
I am busy Friday and will be just going for the low speed event part on Saturday.
The low speed from my knowledge is everything but the front straight. Not very
low speed, but it should be a good time and easy on the car. Hopefully it rains!!!
Drivers meeting is at 8:30am.
i'm interested in the future events at BIR assuming they'll let my miata mix with vettes. Do they have a website? Do you have info also on track days on Road America.

and coincidently I just happen to have the old man's C5 ragtop for the weekend. As I recall though, converts without rollbars can't go over 80mph on the main straight. How would they know? you may ask... The club has a radar gun, thats how. Its for safety measures and I'm cool with that. BIR is a great time in any car though!
Anywho, I had planned to bring it to St Cloud for MOWOG 2 and enter it in AS. (I beilieve thats correct class for it)
The Jetta is still waiting for parts to complete motor swap

Actually, Bill, C4's are in AS but C5's are in SS according to the car class list posted under "Rules" on this site. Either way I'm sure you and I will be in the same group since I'll probably be bumped up to SS anyway.
Looking forward to seeing you in St. Cloud.

Bill,
After driving that you might never want to get your Jetta back together.
It is pretty cool that your old man will let you run it. My old man is scared
to let me out with his horsepower buggy. I would love to drive something
that is RWD and has more then 4 cylinders. RWD would be nice. I'm not
picky.
Steven
And Dave is correct. You will be in SS.

But they will let you go as fast as you want around the corners? Never seen a Vette flip over on a straight. :)
Have fun and keep it upright!
