October 14 - Points event 11

Unless otherwise noted all events will be held at Greyhound Park in Waterloo.

We discussed the possibility of an Iowa/Minnesota (that's right, Iowa first :P ) challenge this year, and while it's something we'd like to try in the future, we decided to first try and attend at least one of your guys' events as group to try and repay all you folks for all the support/attendance you've given us. We can always try to start planning early for a 2008 challenge 8)

Any word if DMVR is still planning to run their March events, or are they headed down a long and eventless trail?

I know they are working hard on getting a schedule set up, contacting different potential sites that have been used in years past that have not been used recently as well as new locations and trying to work out scheduling conflicts at their regular location(s).

We were very fortunate to be able to get our schedule put together so early, it was pretty much set by the beginning of December, we just had to wait for finalization. I'm sure the DMVR will have something put together by the middle/end of February.

It'll be nice to have you folks here. I'll have to make it down sometime this coming year, kind of as a return, as I started autoxing with you in the fall of 2005.

I have looked through most of the DMVR Website and myautoevents.com and cannot find the daily schedule for the Test and tune on april 1st. I am wondering what time I should leave MPLS to get to the event on time.

We start registration and tech about 9:00 am and try to have runs starting at 11 am.

The trip to Minneapolis for me generally takes about 3 1/2 from Waterloo. The route I take is (from the cities) 52 to rochester, then just follow 63 to Waterloo. It's a much nicer drive back and forth with the bypass around New Hampton than it used to be.

We have changed the location of our April 21st and 22nd events to Greyhound Park.
