You can put me down for setup and takedown.
Is this a good time to learn about Timing and Scoring? If so I'd like to help with that, otherwise put me down for general cone-shagging.

Paul, I'm planning to have the instructors help with the tech, so you may not need to post to fill those positions. This will help the students get to know some of the instructors, and give the instructors a break between my dry class on how to instruct, and pats better class on how he wants it done on sunday.
Cool that you're taking charge to organize this.
Newbies take notice!
Plan on my car for tech so long as LSE has it done, or at least driveable by then-

I live a block away and can provide a brand new standard japanese car for tech stuff.
I can also provide a "british leaker." It will be there anyways.

Don't give away all the timing and scoring spots. I want to do that for my work assignment. It's one of only two reasons I'm signed up.

Keep it coming folks...very glad to have your help and support!! One of more major things is the food requirements. Nicky and Matt have done a fantastic job on this in years past. I'm hoping they step up again, but may need backup just in case they cannot do it this year. Food is important!! Anyone willing to be understudy?

If Novices can do this you're in Stoooo....
Not sure as they might have some of the T&S people from the advanced class there...
Paul (and everyone else),
Timing & Scoring is most definitely one of the work assignments for Novices during the school. We'll have one experienced worker in the trailer, but everyone else should be Novices, learning how to do the jobs.

Paul, can you remove me from Timing and scoring during the event? I misunderstood what I was signing up for (thanks for the heads-up Steve).
I'll still help set up Timing and Scoring since I want to learn how to do that.
Thanks!

Tim,
Thanks! Not sure where we'll need more help but I assure you we'll find things for you to do... Will you be around on Sat at all or just Sunday (still need a setup person on Sat).

If you can get there a little early to help set up on Sat that would help.
As for Sunday, just help where it looks like we need it (or are asked to)
Thanks again.

Bump
Just over a week til the Novice School, thanks for volunteering, it looks like the only help we still need is another "coach" or two in the timing trailer. Is there anyone taking the advanced class on Sat that wants to show their "Mad Skilz" on Sunday?

That's my goal for the year, too. Looks like Josh has his first two volunteers for next year's Timing PhD class.

Bump...
Lee added a Waiver position for Sunday, this is definitely needed!
Looking for someone starting at ~7:30, we could use one for the AM and another for the afternoon as well...
Thanks!

I'll be there with the trailer by 6:30 AM. With the new setup, I'll be ready to start setting up the course by about 6:35 AM. :)
