I am planning on going. Anybody want to split a room?
Co-drive available.

Ohh... if i wasn't so busy and broke from trying to get my own car together, i'd be all over this.

Looks like Mr. Mensch will be co-driving with me.
If someone just wants a place to crash on some floor space (bring an air bed), we can rent a room at Comfort Suites or whatever it is called.
Otherwise I think I will just get a room at Red Roof, a little ****her out but cheaper

This one crops up pretty often. Try 'further' instead, and it'll work just fine.
It's funny the words it'll trim, like ****** and ****e.

I won't have tires by then - Hoosier hasn't started shipping the 275/35-15's yet.... :(

I need to have Jeff align the car and mount the new tires. If I can get that done then I'd go. Or we could just run on old tires with my half as string alignment I just finished. Actually the string part for the toe I'm pretty confident on, it's the stupid "smart camber" gauge I don't trust. That thing has like a +-.4 degree fudge factor depending on how I use it.

Any one else up for a co-drive? I don't have a car that's ready to autocross yet.
I'll split the room and gas.

I believe Ivan's answer when I asked if we were going was "if the stars align right." So that makes us weather and astronomy dependent.

If we do go, I will probably just get up early and make the trip down in the morning, so don't count on me in any hotel planning. I agree...would not want to go if it's wet / too cold, but that's up to Chris. Nice thing is that we can just register on site that morning.

You shouldn't have sold all your cars, you'd have something to drive! (plus if I remember correctly, Matt Murphy didn't really make a habit of traveling out of town for autoX events...)
Current forecast looks like cold and wet. Still not sure if I'm going or not.

OK, Koni screwed up on my order, so now I have mismatched shocks. Revalved Koni's in the front, stock in the rear.
So I guess I won't be going this weekend, no matter what the weather looks like.

Steve, do we have room for Pat?
Don't know what they have for "roll-a-ways", but I bet the floor is available. The plan is to leave early afternoon, hit Millwaukee in time for dinner.
Feel free to call my cell to track me/us down (You have a PM)
*EDIT* So I'm a little slow.....BIG deal.........er I mean I'm saving my speed for when it counts....yeah that's it

If I can find someone to split a room with I'll go. Looks like they're $104/night. I'm finishing the rear wheel studs tonight (what a PIA) and the car is getting aligned tomorrow.

I just reserved a suite at the Residence Inn in Brookfield (across the street from the Country Inn, back by the golf course). It's got two doubles and a sofabed if you guys are interested. It's $106.31 per night after tax, so it would only be about $35 per person split three ways.

Either it's dune broke, or you're using it wrong. (at least part of the time) No issues with mine.
See you schleps in Milwaukee. We're double-dating with the Austins at the Residence Inn.

Part of the fun is "schlepping". It would be fun to meet at Champs since we're all close.

If I remember my Yiddish correctly, "schlepping" is lugging stuff around. Like, the time I schlepped a set of autocross tires all the way to Lake Geneva so Tim could fail to use them, so then I schlepped them back to Saint Paul via West Chicago.
Were you thinking of "schmoozing"?

Going to try to be there and checked in by 8 PM. At the bar by 8:02.
Neal's gotta work from the hotel though... <Nelson> HA ha </Nelson>
...now I've jinxed myself, I'll be getting support calls all weekend.

Well, I have some new wheels sitting in the garage, but no tires to put on them yet. So I'm still out of commission for now. :(
