Do some internet research on Amercan popular culture. Start with the name "Emily Litella".

What's wrong with a Violin? Doesn't have to be classical you know, Bluegrass with Fiddle, Electric Violin (think ELO), Rock Music played with an Orchestra (ever hear the Rock Opera Tommy as played by the London Philharmonic Symphony?)...

Sounds like someone needs to expand their horizons...

OP is probably too young to remember ELO. Oh yeah, I should be too...

Dang, I woulda loved to see the Who (And the Electic Light Orchestra)

Tell me about it some time will ya?

Back on topic, What kinds of beer will be in the beer garden? Anything good like Bodington's, Guinness, or Strongbow (Piraat?) or just the standard cheap fare?

The Yardbirds and Kansas come to mind.

But my quote has nothing to do with specific music, as any SNL historian knows. ;)

Did you know you can get transcripts of the old shows?

I worked with Arron's dad(Sean) for couple of years he runs one up motor sports and is very good rider in his own right but his son is suppose to be fantastic.

I'm guessing "Bud" will be high-end, and PBR for the masses. :D

Yeah, my wife, 10-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son oughta have a grand 'ol time!

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Ice-T perform. It's been 15 years since I last saw him on stage. I doubt though that the Mrs. and young'uns would enjoy the show.

Not to mention hearing damage from the "sound system contest".

Not to mention hearing damage from the "sound system contest".
the sound comp will be held away from the 2 stages
besides most of the cars and trucks that compete in these usaully have there cars sound proof to hold the sound inside the car s.p.l. stands for the sound presure level
its the presure from the bass not how loud you are. my car hits 149 bp but a cop right next to me would not think that at all . and as far as the bikini contest and all the performers, they all understand that this is a family event which there will also be a sec to drop your childern off and go check out the things that you may not want your children to see. myself, i have a 12 year old daughter so i understand the importance.

Both Sean and Arron are really stand up guys. They do a lot to help out local riders with parts and what not.

They were on Perk at Play tonight. Sean was talking to Perk with his back to the lot.
"I can tell by the sound if he gets in trouble."
"So that's OK now?"
"Yes, those are normal sounds."

Then they put Perk on the motorcycle and Aaron stood over him with one foot on the back fender and took him for a one-wheel ride around the lot. Perk got off the motorcycle and walked away saying, "I'm gonna go hurl".
