Someone at a recent trade show snapped a photo of a preliminary schedule for the 2008 SCCA National Solo schedule. A couple notes: the Milwaukee Tour is later in July and Nationals is earlier in September.

Excellent. Getting rid of the Peru/Milwaukee back to back is great. I think it should help both events. I know a few people who had to choose one or the other. I'll finally be able to do both.

One additional note: another National Tour event is in the works for Kansas City in August. That willl give us a second Tour event within 6 hours of the Twin Cities. :rockon

Arrowhead is my favorite venue. Huge and quite sloped which makes things interesting. Bring your mufflers if you are in mod class: they always have sound restrictions.

Obviously you should be prepared for anything, but they sure didn't seem to be too strict at the MidDivs we went to. Katie and I brought the boat-anchor "less loud" exhaust for that event, and I spent 1/2 hour installing it when we arrived. But meanwhile, the EM rotary-powered Miata showed up with only an extra little bullet muffler and a turn-down tip, which of course means it was still REALLY LOUD, and no one seemed to complain. Other mod cars were still really loud too. We probably would have been fine with the shortie exhaust on the BMW.

I don't know how many events I will be able to make this year with a relatively new baby in the house, but the KC tour looks tempting.

Looks like a decent schedule for us northern Peeps. I'm thinking about trying to take in the One at Milwaukee Or the One at Arrowhead. I would like to do both but chances are Arrowhead will be the only one i attend just cause of distances reasons for me

Let me guess... you are the guy with the mean vette in South Dakota? I still can't believe the grip your car had!!
Yes, you should make some of the bigger events and run against the big boys. You are getting quick!

Yes that would be me i guess not sure if the car is all that mean. But i'm trying to make it. Getting some brake upgrades over the winter along with a Radiator.
And i do wana make it to some bigger events I'm improving but i have a long ways to go yet.Thats why i wana take in the Evo schools. and as many events as i can. cause my goal is to go to nationals next year too if my schedule allows and i'm up to enough par.
I know the course you laid out that day helped me out alot. By the end of the year i finnally managed to pass Russ and Lee in his Caterham. So now it's mod time and getting a schedule of AX's and Track days lined up
