Technically "according to QMA Rules" kids can pratice, but not compete at the age of 4.5 years.

If you joined you could pratice all you want at the track on pratice days. (FOR FREE.) As soon as the 5 year old birthday party hits, you can race!

FYI We do "Try it You'll like it" every year in May!

I hope Mama Bear don't come after me!

You have no idea how much I am for doing this. My 11 year old son is going to LOVE this! And 20 bucks really is a steal! We are already looking to get him into some sort of karting, at least to try out this summer since he is interested in it, so this is perfect!!

I said expert "trainer".... I think this is turning into "Who's on first".

As for the hissy fit thing; Now I have to go back and see how many of Suart's posts have hidden messages.

I understood what you getting at about the trainers... I was just trying to be more PC.

Looks like your gonna be busy for a while searching for hidden messages. ;)

There could be a hidden message in mine as well.

There are no other hidden messages. There are especially none about you.

<Trots off to seed as many old posts as possible with hidden references to Jeff The Alignment Guy, aka JtAG, and his issues with paranoia and denial>

Yep. That's when he'll be five.
You underestimate me. I've got bigger fish to fry. Good luck trying to talk your parents into going, because that would be during their visit.

What is a Mowogs?

What does "MOWOG" stand for?
This is from the second time I printed this in THE RIGHT LINE,
apparently in 1996:The Origin of the Series by Phil Ethier

I am often asked, "What does "MOWOG" stand for, and how did it get to be the name of MAC's autocross series? This came up again at the May MAC meeting. After I explained, I was told I ought to print it in THE RIGHT LINE. Actually, I have; in January of 1991.

I wrote this in THE RIGHT LINE in 1991 and again in 1996:

When the British Motor Corporation was formed, the former companies were kept in groups. Austin and Riley were in one group, I believe. Morris and Wolseley were in another, which encompassed the MG line of sports cars. In an effort to keep things straight in the rapidly-expanding company, with new cars coming out with parts from many sources, they began to mark parts according to their origin. The code for the Morris Wolseley Group was the word MOWOG.

This odd little word caught the fancy of British-car enthusiasts. It is most known in this country for showing up on MG parts.

The Upper Midwest BMC Club adopted the name for its autocross series. I don't know when this was, but had to be before 1968, when I joined. The subsequent merger with Minnesota Opel Drivers, and the club's name change to Minnesota Autosports Club, didn't kill it so we have a tradition that is at least 36 years old.
