Since our original plan for Saturday got postponed (again !) Trish and I will be heading over to the Brunswick Zone in Eden Prairie on Saturday evening to celebrate her birthday with a few games of darts and pool, and maybe enjoy a malted beverage or two while we're at it. If anybody would like to join us, please feel free to do so.

Nice title there, sunshine. I nearly didn't find this thread because it wasn't in the lounge. I'd say that's where my peeps are, but then they might be mistaken for those sugary harbingers of death and mayhem. :p

Despite Stuart's flair for thread-titling, drinking is not necessary. Whatever floats your boat; it's all good. I like to play darts and Stu likes to play pool, but there is also a bowling alley there. We make wagers and I win at darts and he wins at pool, but we laugh a lot in between. I'm trying to talk K-Doll into coming along, too.

Here might be one of those aforementioned social events Gretchen was talking about.

So, I think the babysitter will be here around 6 pm, so we'll be there around 6:30 pm-ish, I think.

What frightens you? Going out with Shane or leaving him in charge of the kids?

Personally, I think they'd have him huddled in a fetal position under the crib after an hour. A newbie can only handle kids' books in small doses. He'd be bound to strain a tongue muscle with Hop on Pop, and he'd collapse into a pile of jelly when Geoffrey demonstrated which parts were applicable from I Love You Through and Through.

But I should go now, because I can hear you in the kitchen telling the kids that I'll teach them how to do the chicken dance.

I'll get you for that.

I think I'll make Strawberry Shortcake tonight... for only me. You'd better figure out a way to make up for the poultry gyration I'm about to do.
