Sounds like the crappy construction I'll be dealing with all summer will ruin a weekend for a lot of other autocrossers too:

Dang it- and I just logged on to check if I could register too. Oh well, I guess I'll just save some money for next year and spend a little more on seat time this year.

The swear filter won't let me express how mad I am about this. Any chance we can still fit it in at Midway as usual ?

This isn't totally dead yet. We're still trying to come up with a date later in the year.

For some of us, this is an opportunity. I was intersted in this, but am signed up for Grandmas marathon the week it was originally scheduled.

I hope it can be rescheduled, better yet, I hope it can be rescheduled for one of the few weekends I have left open this summer. :)

Nope - not happening this year. We've had trouble filling it two years in a row.

IMO they should waive the EVO I requirement for MAC members who've attended the novice school, I felt like EVO I was basically just like our novice school, and I'd have loved to sign up for II instead. (just in case I haven't mentioned this like 5x before)

Yeah, if they weren't in the business of making money, they might do that! ;)

Yet AGAIN my statement rings true: MAC novice school- the best instructors money can't buy.

(I expect I may be a little biased about that...)

yeah but... its EVO's requirement that you have to take EVO I before EVO II, not a MAC requirement. And although MAC rocks the cash-bar (locks the cat-box?) when it comes to instruction, EVO don't give a dern.

So with no EVO II this year, does it stand to reason that maybe... just maybe... we will have it next year? If so, I will start saving my pennies.:D

If we can manage an EVO I class this year I'd be up for the EVO II class next year.

I assume Evo will schedule I and II in Milwaukee Thursday before the National Tour… Evo 1 and 2's different then our Novice School and worth taking...
