Here are the Grid/Heat assignments for MOWOG 1 & 2. Normally I wouldn't publish this information in advance, but there have been a few questions from co-drivers. The mix of cars has changed quite a bit from last year, and it was pretty difficult to come up with balanced heats. For new drivers, don't be concerned if this makes no sense to you now. It will all be explained at the events.

East Grid (running 1st on Saturday & 2nd on Sunday)
STU, Street Tire Index, Street Prepared, Prepared, SM2, F125, Pro

West Grid (running 2nd on Saturday & 1st on Sunday)
Stock, SI, STS, STS2, STX, SM

I think this is extremely helpful info for planning the weekend, if we want to have spectators come and watch, or whatever. I understand it could be subject to last-minute changes, and maybe the EM doesn't always have it planned this far ahead. But is there any particular reason not to share this info ahead of time, if it is known?

Will East and West be marked there? LOL

Otherwise its pretty easy to understand...

Mainly limited availability of volunteer time. It's most efficient to come up with the run groups at the same time you download the entry list for the timing system - something not done until registration is closed.

We generally end up writing the grid designations in big letters on the pavement with chalk, since many people seem directionally challenged..... :p

When you enter the site, you will be handed a map. This will show you were you can park, what grid is what, and will have a course map. Cool!

Noob Question - Is the course the same on Sat/Sun or are they treated as separate events.

I'm signed up for Sunday, but not Saturday due to other commitments.

Two seperate events. The course is essentially the same layout, but run in the opposite direction. It will be two distinctly different courses.
